Home Builders Association of Transylvania County
Chartered in 1981, The Home Builders Association of Transylvania County is a non-profit association, affiliated with the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders, whose purpose is to represent builder industry professionals. This mission is achieved by promoting the building industry within Transylvania County for the purpose of mutual advantage of all persons involved in the home building industry; collaborating with all fields related to the building industry as a whole; complying with all laws, federal, state and local; assisting in the accomplishment of the mutual objectives of the National Association of Home Builders and the North Carolina Home Builders Association; and, operating without profit and no part of the income of the Association shall inure to the benefit of any individual member. The association encourages its members to join with the public sector to achieve common goals and improve the quality of life throughout the community.
Don't guess - start at square one. The people in your local Home Builders Association know the ropes. They can help you find a professional builder. Or give your the infromation you need to make an intelligent choice.
The point is - a good, professional builder is more often than not a member of the Home Builders Association.
